About
My invention relates generally to dental and oral hygiene apparatuses. More specifically, the my invention is a toothbrush storage apparatus that protects toothbrushes from airborne particulates and bugs as well as from general airborne pathogens. A staple of proper oral hygiene is the toothbrush, an instrument often used in conjunction with toothpaste and supplemented by dental floss in order to maintain oral hygiene. When not in use, toothbrushes are often placed in a holder and left exposed to the open air of a bathroom. Due to the nature of toothbrush bristles, toothbrush heads typically accumulate a plethora of airborne particulates found in the environment. Toothbrushes that are left on countertop or in an open air holder are exposed to hair sprays, perfumes, cleaning products, dead skin cells, and airborne pathogens. These factors decrease tge hygienic properties of toothbrushes and result in an unsavory and unsanitary brushing experience.
